The Two Minute Rule – This radio commercial promotes The Two Minute Rule.

The Two Minute Rule (French publication) - This French-language radio spot was produced by RC's French publisher, Belfond, for the French launch.

Indigo Slam spot – This radio commercial aired to promote Indigo Slam.

L. A. Requiem spot – This radio spot aired for the launch of L. A. Requiem.

Demolition Angel spot #1 – This radio spot launched the hardcover.

Demolition Angel spot #2 – A second spot was made for the paperback.

Blue Shield commercial – Blue Shield of California asked RC to cut this commercial, which aired within the state.

If They Hang You I’ll Always Remember You
In 1999, the Mystery Guild published a series of reprints honoring their selection of the fifty greatest crime writers of the twentieth century. The Guild commissioned RC to write the introduction for Dashiell Hammett’s brilliant and classic crime novel, The Maltese Falcon.

Archie and Me
RC penned this introduction to a reprint edition of Rex Stout’s Before Midnight. In it, he discusses not only Stout’s classic creations, Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin, but also his own Elvis Cole and Joe Pike.

Wayne Warga is Alive and Well at 6000 Feet
This appreciation was written upon the death of RC’s close friend, the writer and journalist Wayne Warga. It was originally published in the newsletter of the Southern California Chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.

Where I Live
This essay for the Los Angeles Times describes why RC enjoys living in the Santa Monica mountains. It was originally published in the Times’ ‘Home’ section and generated an enormous reader response.
